Our Approach
TWG provides fundraising management and capacity building services that help nonprofits secure the funding and build the fundraising engine they need for the long-term.
TWG emphasizes an integrated approach to our work. We seek to partner with our clients, and transfer knowledge and skills to thereby mobilize and engage the organization, empower the staff and leadership, and create ownership of the vision and strategy for growth. Ultimately, our role is to provide critical help with and guidance on the hard decisions organizations must address during moments of growth and change.
We always begin with a fundraising assessment that allows us and our clients to understand the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats in their current environment. This is followed by a planning exercise to explore three core questions:
- What is your vision for growth?
- What resources do you need to achieve the vision?
- How do you make the resources happen: case, leadership, prospects, infrastructure and planning?
Using TWG’s proven fundraising capacity-building model, we then define the strategic case for support a strategy to raise funds and provide assistance on implementation, with an eye toward financial and management capacity-building to sustain and increase fundraising over time. |
